What is Travel Insurance?
Travel Insurance can cover your loss of money or additional costs caused by unexpected travel, medical and financial issues, such as delayed departure, emergency medical care and baggage loss. You can choose among three travel insurance policy types - Single Trip, Multitrip & Backpacker Travel Insurance. You can also add one or more of the Optional Covers available. At Multitrip.com, we can provide cover for people up to 79 years old, special deals for family and couples policies and max trip durations of up to 365 days (Age Limit and max trip durations vary depending on the cover type selected). What Type of Travel Insurance should I Buy?

What does Travel Insurance Cover?
At Multitrip.com, cover can be provided for common travel insurance benefits, such as cover for cancellation, delayed baggage and delayed departure, as well as for over 60 sports and activities under Grade 1 as standard. Please refer to policy wording for full details of cover.
Cancellation or Curtailment
Cancellation covers irrecoverable, unused travel and accommodation costs and other pre-paid charges which you are contracted to pay while curtailment covers your reasonable additional travel expenses incurred to return to your home country as a result of an unforeseen illness, injury or bereavement.
Medical Expenses
This covers emergency medical and other expenses including dental (for pain relief only) if an insured person suffers a sudden and unforeseen bodily injury or illness or death during a trip outside the UK.
Emergency Assistance
This provides 24 hour emergency assistance in the event of a medical emergency abroad, repatriation or curtailment of your holiday.
Baggage & Personal Belongings
This provides protection against the accidental loss of, theft of or damage to baggage/personal belongings.
Personal Liability
This provides cover should you become legally liable to pay compensation for any claim or series of claims arising from accidental bodily injury to a third party or loss or damage to property that does not belong to you.
Delayed Departure
This provides cover if the scheduled public transport on which you are booked to travel is delayed at the final departure point from or to the UK for at least 12 hours.
