You can choose from two travel insurance policy types - Single Trip, and Multitrip Travel Insurance. You can also add one or more of the Optional Extras available. What type of travel insurance should I buy?
Single Trip Insurance

If you only go on a once-off short trip every year, then Single Trip Travel Insurance may be the most appropriate cover option for you.

Multitrip Travel Insurance

What does travel insurance cover?
At Multitrip.com, cover can be provided for common travel insurance benefits, such as cover for cancellation, delayed baggage and delayed departure, as well as for over 60 sports and activities under Grade 1 as standard. Please refer to the policy wording for full details of cover.
Cancellation or Trip Interruption
Cancellation covers irrecoverable, unused travel and accommodation costs and other pre-paid charges which you are contracted to pay while curtailment covers your reasonable additional travel expenses incurred to return to your home country as a result of an unforeseen illness, injury or bereavement.
Medical Expenses
This covers emergency medical and other expenses including dental (for pain relief only) if an insured person suffers a sudden and unforeseen bodily injury or illness or dies during a trip outside the United kingdom.
Emergency Assistance
This provides 24 hour emergency assistance in the event of a medical emergency abroad, repatriation or curtailment of your holiday.
Delayed Departure
This provides cover if the scheduled public transport on which you are booked to travel is delayed at the final departure point from or to Ireland for at least 12 hours.
Personal Liability
This provides cover should you become legally liable to pay compensation for any claim or series of claims arising from accidental bodily injury to a third party or loss or damage to property that does not belong to you.
Baggage & Personal Belongings
This provides protection against the accidental loss of, theft of or damage to baggage/personal belongings.
